Smile Makeovers (Porcelain Veneers)
In many cases porcelain veneers are the ultimate and best type of cosmetic dental treatment. You can have a beautiful, healthy and long lasting smile in as little as two visits a week apart! At The Perfect Smile Studios, Hertfordshire we go through a special protocol of cosmetic dentistry to ensure you have a smile that suits your face and personality, with no surprises! This is how we do it:-
STEP 1: Accurate analysis of your smile and teeth by the cosmetic dentist and ceramist technician.
STEP 2: Creation of Wax-ups to help simulate your new smile.
STEP 3: The Trial Smile. After minor recontouring of your teeth (porcelain veneers need only be about 0.5mm thick), we create beautiful temporary veneers of the new shape and colour.
STEP 4: The Review Appointment. We confirm your approval of the temporary veneers for shape, colour, and comfort. Accurate measurements are then taken (up to 0.1mm accuracy!) as well as a new mould and photographs. This information is used by the ceramist to predictably create your new smile!
Shade Selection. The ceramist or cosmetic dentist will record the precise colour match. Careful attention is made to match the colour variations within your natural teeth, as well as a precise measurement of the surface texture and lustre of your own teeth. This level of attention to detail creates whiter and natural looking teeth. We use only the best dental technicians in the UK that specialize in the art of porcelain work to create really lifelike and attractive restorations.
STEP 5: Fitting of your new veneers. About two weeks after the preparation appointment, we deliver your new smile!
