Cosmetic Procedures Recommended for Ages 18 and Over
There is no age limit to who can have porcelain veneers. However, we do not recommend dental veneer treatment for patients under 18. It is not advisable to have veneers for patients under 18 unless a structural issue needs to be addressed or in certain rare circumstances. The majority of our patients are between 30 and 65 years old. However, we have treated many patients who are between 65- 75 years old.
Treating Older Mouths
The older the tooth is being treated (thus, the older the patient is), the more likely the pulp chamber where the nerve resides shrunk, significantly reducing sensitivity complications or the risk of root filling.
So, older patients may experience reduced side effects.
When considering any dental treatment, it may be necessary to check the health of teeth with radiographs.
We only wish to carry out this treatment on teeth with a long-term outlook. We determine this by creating a thorough assessment of the teeth and mouth.
