Experiencing…

  1. Any pain or sensitivity when eating, drinking or biting down?
  2. Do your teeth feel sore when pressing or running your tongue across them? Unexplainable bad breath?
  3. Can you feel or see visible holes in the teeth? Or is there visible brown or black staining?

You likely have a cavity. Do not ignore it – clear decay and fill your cavity (we have appointments available today).

*Patients can combine their dental filling appointment with an exam for £280 (including a hygiene visit). Book here.

You might need a dental crown instead

Depending on the extent of your decay, our dentist might recommend a dental crown to repair your decay and further protect your tooth.

Dental fillings are perfect in minor decay cases, where minimal damage to the tooth has been caused. If you’ve ignored decay for some time, and most of the tooth has cracked away, you might need a dental crown.

When decay is rampant and ignored for prolonged periods, dental decay might have taken over a significant portion of your tooth, and a regular dental filling is unlikely to be your recommended next step.

Dental crowns cost £1,200.

Leave it to the dentist - start with a check-up

We don’t expect you to have all the answers and know if you’ll need a dental filling. Dental pain is a common symptom of many dental problems, so our dentists will need to assess your oral health to identify what’s really going on.

Our check-ups cost £65 for existing patients and from £100 for new patients. Book now.
